Funny Soccer Team Names (All True!)

Ah, funny soccer team names! You’ll find a few lists of weird and wonderful soccer team names online, but I guarantee this list is the most up-to-date. Nearly all these teams are currently playing top division soccer in their respective countries. I’ve left out a few teams (maybe four or five) because the names are... well... a little rude. I don’t really want to receive any emails from angry parents...

FIFA World Cup Winners List

For your viewing pleasure, here’s a list of all the FIFA World Cup winners since 1930. The international soccer competition has been held every four years since the first World Cup in Uruguay, apart from the period between 1938 and 1950, when World Cup competition was cancelled due to World War II.

Soccer Yellow Card Offences

Referees use two types of cards during a game of soccer: yellow cards and red cards. When a referee shows a player a yellow card, he is signaling that the player has been cautioned (a warning). Red card offences are more serious and signal a sending-off (the player is expelled from the game).
